Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to the FilingDecoded Chrome extension, processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record.

1. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions ($7/month) are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

To cancel your monthly subscription, use the billing portal link provided in your subscription confirmation email, or contact us at contact@filingdecoded.com.

2. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions ($59/year) may be eligible for a partial refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not made significant use of the Service during that period. Refund requests after 14 days are considered on a case-by-case basis.

To request a refund on an annual subscription, contact us at contact@filingdecoded.com within 14 days of your purchase date with your order details. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

3. What Counts as Significant Use

For annual refund eligibility, significant use means generating more than 20 summaries during the refund window. If you have generated fewer than 20 summaries and request a refund within 14 days, we will process it without question.

4. Free Tier

The free tier (10 summaries/month) is free of charge. No refunds apply as no payment is made.

5. Service Disruptions

If the Service experiences an extended outage of more than 72 consecutive hours, affected paid subscribers may request a pro-rata credit for the disruption period. Credits are applied to future billing cycles and are not paid out as cash refunds.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and returned to the original payment method. Processing time is typically 5โ€“10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
